About the Rebrand
Hen House is Becoming Element House
Hen House Bath Co. is evolving into Element House Modern Apothecary.
The name and look are changing, but the heart of the business is not. Element House is still independently owned, still small-batch, and still focused on thoughtfully made home, bath, and body products.
This rebrand gives the business room to grow into a broader, more refined collection while keeping the same care, creativity, and attention to detail behind every product.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why are you changing the name?
As the business has grown, the Hen House name no longer fully reflects the direction of the brand. Element House gives us more room to grow across home fragrance, bath, body, and future apothecary-inspired products while creating a more cohesive identity.
Is this still the same business?
Yes. Element House is the same small business, with the same ownership, products, and hands-on approach behind the scenes. This is a rebrand, not a change in ownership.
Are the products changing?
Some products will receive updated names, labels, or packaging as the Element House collection rolls out. In many cases, the product itself is the same one you already know.
When a familiar product receives a new name, we’ll use “formerly known as…” messaging during the transition to make it easier to recognize your favorites.
Are the formulas changing?
Not simply because of the rebrand. Existing formulas will remain the same unless a product is intentionally reformulated, improved, or replaced for another reason.
If a formula changes in a meaningful way, that information will be noted on the product listing.
Will my favorite Hen House scents still be available?
Many familiar scents are staying, although some will appear under new Element House names. Some older products may also be retired as the collection becomes more focused.
During the transition, product descriptions will help connect renamed products with their previous Hen House names.
Why am I still seeing Hen House packaging or branding?
You may see both Hen House and Element House branding for a little while as we transition existing inventory, packaging, labels, and product listings.
Rather than creating unnecessary waste, we’re using appropriate existing materials while gradually moving everything to the new brand.
What happens to current orders?
Existing orders will continue to be processed normally. Depending on when an order is placed and which products are included, your package may contain Hen House branding, Element House branding, or a combination of both during the transition.
Do I need to create a new customer account?
No. Existing customer accounts, order history, and website access will continue as the storefront transitions to Element House.
What about wholesale customers?
Wholesale relationships will continue during the rebrand. Packaging, product names, listings, and branded materials will be updated gradually as Element House becomes the primary brand.
Is your commitment to small-batch production changing?
No. Products will continue to be made in small batches with the same focus on quality, thoughtful sourcing, and careful production.
What’s Next
