Hi, I'm Laurisa - founder, maker, label peeler, box packer, and the nose behind every blend at Hen House Bath Co. What started as a creative escape at my kitchen counter, quickly turned into something bigger - a love letter to to cozy scents, small batch tradition, and the simple joy of lighting a candle that just gets you. Hen House Bath Co. is built on Tennessee Charm, storytelling through scent, and whole lotta heart (and a little hustle).

Hen House Bath Co. was born in 2018, from a lifelong love of slow living, soulful scents, and the kind of self-care that starts in your own two hands. This creative escape quickly turned into a full-fledged obsession including handcrafted soaps, candles, and bath goods that feel good, smell better, and make everyday rituals a little more special.
We believe in southern hospitality with a wink - always thoughtful, never stuffy. Every blend we make is inspired by Tennessee's charm, local history, and the people and places we hold dear. From the crisp morning air in Cades Cove to the neon glow of a Friday night Honky Tonk, our scents tell a story.

Every Hen House Bath Co. product is hand-poured in small batches using clean, cruelty-free ingredients. Our formulas are always free of phthalates & parabens, and anything that doesn't belong on your skin or in your air. Our goal? Thoughtful products that do more than smell amazing - the evoke memory, bring comfort, and maybe even make you laugh.
Giving Back Matters
Giving back isn't just a nice-to-have - it's personal. As a breast cancer survivor, I proudly donate 10% of every sale to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Fund, in honor of the one and only Minnie Pearl - a Nashville icon and fellow breast cancer survivor. This cause is close to my heart, and every candle, soap, and bath product purchased helps support life-saving research, compassionate care, and the fight for more survivors' stories.
Growing the Flock
What started as a hobby has grown- thanks to the incredible support of our customers - into a small-but mighty brand with big dreams. Hen House Bath Co. is available on Faire and we're ready to welcome new retail partners. We've also been featured in Nashville Voyager Magazine.
